Tube Regatta – San Marcos Lions Club Tube Rental

It sure is getting warm out there. Time to go cool off in the wonderfully 72 degree San Marcos River.

San Marcos Lions Club Tube Rental offers tube and life jacket rentals and bus transportation back and forth all day long. It’s a pretty good deal, float down, hop on the bus, do it all over again!

It is a slow process getting registered and paying for tubes and shuttle. Recommend being in line no later than 10:30

Lets target 11:00am Regatta Launch.

Pro tip: Buy your own tubes at Academy for appx $20 and just pay for the bus transport.

San Marcos has enacted a single use container ban on the river. (cans, glass, plastic bottles, etc) So make sure to bring your BIG jug of your favorite drink.

There are no food sales, so bring along a lunch if you like. (you can always leave it in the car if you are concerned about it getting soggy). We will be going down the river several times as a guess. Take a break, we got all day.

WHAT TO BRING:
Tubes, life vests, drinks, snacks, lunch. Sunscreen, Hat, Sunglasses. Make sure to review the park rules.

WHERE TO MEET:
Lets meet at the Tube Rental Building, tubes in hand.
