Hey y'all this group is for the Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas. This group is for anyone who is looking to make new friends. Whether you are new to Birmingham, introverted, or just want some new people to hang out with, this group is for you! All are welcome, but this is a NO HATE group.
This group is also just a place where if you need a group of people to simply be there for you, we will be there. Making friends as an adult is hard and I hope this group can grow friendship and help people that may be a little introverted (Like me-ReBe) come out of their shell every once in a while.

The inspiration for HLBF-BHM:
So, I (ReBe) lived in Austin Texas for about 5years. I was 9hours away from my closest family. I was EXTREMELY shy and a hermit that never left her apartment except to go to work.
There was a Hey Let’s be friends ATX group in Austin and that really became the only reason I got out and met people. I met amazing people that became my family there.
I moved back home about two years ago and have really been struggling to meet people here. I’ve seen myself go back to that very shy person and I thought, what if I created a group here.
My thought was that I can’t be the only person that is having trouble making friends or even people that need an inspiration to leave there home.
