Yes, by popular demand we are doing it again ! HFFC, with co-sponsoring organizations, have been holding a Darwin Day Dinner annually to celebrate science and the contributions of one of the greatest scientists of all time.
We celebrate with a party: food, drink, socially friendly science quiz, and a talk by a popular Yale professor.

The topic is "Chasing Birds with Satellites", with an alternate title "Taking the pulse of our planet - Biodiversity and the Challenge of Now". Walter Jetz, Director of the new Yale Center for Biodiversity and Global Change, will showcase work in collaboration with NASA and biodiversity monitoring efforts worldwide.
