Hamilton Art Crawl

Details
Hi ladies!
Let's check out Hamilton's famous monthly Art Crawl🎨
Starting in May, James Street North will be closed to car traffic 🏃
This event is a "one-stop shop to experience the city's art, music, and food scenes, while shopping local, people watching, and taking in some city sights. Galleries, studios, stores and restaurants stay open late to welcome thousands of visitors who fill the sidewalks."
We will be meet at the Markers' Market at 7:00PM - 7:30PM located outside of historic Christ Church Cathedral and walking south.
This event will commence if there are 3 or more attendees including myself.
While the itinerary is flexible, a few points of interest include:
- Hamilton Artists Inc.: This large and sunny artist-run centre is an arts anchor in the city and hosts regular innovative exhibits.
- Centre3: This friendly and dynamic artist-run print and media arts centre always has great programming and exhibits during Art Crawl. Expect to see works created in their traditional print-making (lithography, silkscreening) and state of the art digital media facilities
- Len.: Pick up some Hamilton-inspired souvenirs from this self-described purveyor of “pop culture and design-y things”.
- The Pale Blue Dot: Shop natural, ethical, and earth-friendly products in a beautiful space.
- Pretty Grit: Find unique home decor and gift items – everything from paper goods, tea, bath and apothecary goodies, and housewares like pillows, mirrors, lighting and more.
- Store on James: Everything here is handmade (except the books), including stunning pottery, graphic art, and prints, including sought-after Jelly Bros. neighbourhood maps.
- Mulberry Coffeehouse: A major pillar of James North, Mulberry is a community hub where you can stop in for coffee, baked goods, sandwiches and salads. Kick back on their patio with a cocktail or local beer. They also frequently feature live music.
- Chocolat on James: This popular chocolate boutique creates decadent desserts on site and scoops out epic ice cream cones, hand dipped and piled high with yummy toppings.
- Cowabunga: Now’s your chance to take a bite out of the “Best Cheese Slice in the World” awarded to this insanely popular pizzeria at the International Pizza Challenge in Las Vegas.
Attendees can leave the event early if you wish (or we may end up staying late depending on interest)!

General RSVP policy in place:
A polite warning will be given to no-shows and to members who change their RSVP from "Yes" to "No" within 24 hours of the event. If this happens twice, they will be removed from the group. This is in fairness to the members who do attend the events and to those who are on the waitlist. Thanks for understanding.
