What we’re about

Every year, more than 2k people are left homeless and die of hypothermia every winter. Every day, women leave domestic violence situations with nothing but the clothes on their backs, often with their children. Women who lose their children in pregnancy or childbirth have few ways of remembering the life of their baby.

We focus our talents as needleworkers to provide warmth and comfort to those in need, specifically women and children. Volunteers are needed to crochet and knit items such as baby blankets for angel babies, blankets for women and children in dv shelters, and beanies for the homeless.

The goal is to focus each quarter on one project, giving preference to local needs.
