Ride around Hastings, Scenic and Social

We will meet at Spring Lake Park Reserve (that is located just north of Hastings), at the Schaar’s Bluff Trailhead by the gathering center and ride to Hastings.

The ride is about 20 miles long. Along the way we will see a barn and some horses, ride through a residential area, see the waterfall, ride by main street, along the river and the dam. This is a mapless ride. The group stays together.

Speed: Slow, Moving Average speed is 9-11 mph.

This is a Hiawatha Bicycling Club official ride. All non-members riders will be asked to sign a waiver.

Other important tips and information:

• Helmet is mandatory

• Please check your ABC's - Air in your tires, Brakes are in working order as well as your Chain.

• Make sure to bring water

• Lets ride together!
