HiBA began as Hidden Busan Adventures in Busan in April 2025 with one simple idea:
Don’t just visit places. Meet people, share experiences, and build lasting friendships.
Our very first meetup was the Oryukdo–Igidae Coastal Trek on April 19, 2025. What started as a local community in Busan has grown into a diverse network of expats, international students, travelers, digital nomads, and Koreans who believe the best way to discover Korea is through meaningful human connections.
Today, HiBA is starting from Busan and expanding across Korea, while keeping the same community spirit wherever we go.
What Makes HiBA Different?
HiBA is not a tour company.
We believe the most memorable part of travel isn’t the destination—it’s the people you meet along the way.
We call this Relationship-Based Tourism.
Instead of simply visiting places, we create opportunities to:

## Jeonju Hanok Village & Sunchang: 2 Days, 1 Night
For many international residents, Jeonju Hanok Village is one of Korea’s dream destinations.
From Seoul, Jeonju is often considered a must-visit weekend trip. But from Busan, it has never been that simple. The distance, transportation, accommodation and planning have kept it just out of reach. Unless you were a serious Korea travel enthusiast, Jeonju was always a place to visit “someday.”
This time, HiBA has opened the road from Busan.
We will travel directly to Jeonju and walk through streets where food, freedom and tradition come alive. Explore more than 700 traditional hanok, make authentic Jeonju bibimbap, hear the history of Gyeonggijeon from a cultural tourism guide and spend the night in the city.
No complicated planning. No wondering how to get there or where to stay.
Just get on the bus in Busan—and step into the Jeonju you have imagined.
The next morning, we will continue to Sunchang, returning to a place already proven through HiBA’s unforgettable August 23 journey with 30 participants from 13 countries.
This time, we will experience the Sunchang Jangryu Festival together.

🏁 Return to Busan: Sunday around 6:00–7:00 PM

📍 Approximately 15 minutes from Jeonju Hanok Village
- One-night shared accommodation is included.
- Shared rooms will generally be assigned based on gender and room availability.
- The final room type and number of guests per room will depend on the hotel’s allocation.
- A private single room is available for an additional KRW 30,000.
- Single rooms are subject to availability and must be requested in advance.
