Hidden Busan’s Meaningful Surf & Plog Day
Have you ever wanted to try surfing in Korea and give back to the ocean at the same time? This May, Hidden Busan invites you to join a meaningful seaside adventure where fun meets purpose. We're combining the thrill of surfing with the impact of plogging—a global eco-movement that involves picking up litter while walking or jogging outdoors.
At Songjeong Beach, one of Busan’s most beautiful coastal spots, you’ll not only ride the waves but also help protect them. It’s an unforgettable way to experience nature, meet new people, and make a small but real difference—together.
What to Expect
We’ll start the day with a plogging session at Jukdo, a scenic oceanside trail just minutes from the beach. As we walk and clean, we’ll take in the morning views and capture some meaningful moments on camera. This eco-action aligns with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) values and reflects Hidden Busan’s commitment to sustainable travel.
After the plogging, we dive into the waves—literally! Surfholic’s professional instructors will guide you through a one-hour beginner surfing lesson. In the afternoon, enjoy three hours of open surfing to practice and play. A welcome drink and full access to surf gear and facilities are included. You’ll also receive a drone-filmed highlight video to remember the day.

Event Schedule
• 09:30 – Meet at Songjeong Station (Donghae Line), Exit 2
• 10:00–11:00 – Jukdo plogging & photo session (required)
• 11:00–13:00 – Surfing lesson at Surfholic
• 13:00–14:00 – Free time for lunch (individual)
• 14:00–17:00 – Free surfing practice
• 17:00 – Program ends / Optional socializing

What to Bring
• Swimsuit or underclothes to wear under the wetsuit

How to Get There
Meeting point: 09:30 AM at Songjeong Station (Donghae Line), Exit 2
From there, it’s a 16-minute walk to the Songjeong Jukdo Park Public Parking Lot. Surfholic is nearby, across from the sea.
