Take a walk and uncover history! Now it's even bigger, I've added a few new lanes to the mix for an even better Laneway tour. 2 solid hours of historic lanes, and the stories to go along with them.

First of all who was Margaret Fairley, the place we meet for this walk.
She was a British born (1885-1968) writer, teacher, and activist, and from 1936 onward, a member of the Canadian Communist Party. She was also tossed out of the USA for her beliefs, and a park was built in her honour here in Toronto. So now on with the walk!

Explore a laneway in Toronto, and find interesting houses, architecture, hidden treasures of this city. Most walkers ignore the laneways, especially the hidden ones, and see a different side of Toronto, let's get out and uncover something different and special, see you there!

This walking tour is for all levels and walkers. The tour begins on the northeast side of Margaret Fairley Park at 100 Brunswick Avenue, east of Bathurst Street, north of College Street West.
