Hi, I’m Howard Lau, best selling-author, experienced commercial real estate investor and organizer of this outstanding meetup group of entrepreneurs and go-getters.
On Saturday Aug 10th, 1-3pm at the Calgary Public Library, I'll be sharing both high-level and tactical real estate insights when investing in Multi-Family Properties.
We started this group to give back to fellow Calgarians who want better investing opportunities. The fact is you cannot cash-flow when buying property in Calgary and most of Canada. It is very difficult to invest here - I tried it and struggled with many deals trying to make them profitable.
I’ve invested in single-family units before, but ever since I tasted multi-family real estate in the US I’ve realized what a truly great deal looks like and I don’t see them here in Canada or in single-family opportunities.
There are some amazing markets throughout the US and I want to share them with my meetup members.
If you think Calgary is your only place to invest please rethink the possibilities. Single family units are not nearly as recession-proof investments like multi-family!

Meetups are on the second Saturday of every month at the new Calgary Public Library. We meet from 1-3pm in a private room on the lower level. We are a high-quality group of entreprenuers and investors.
