What we’re about
Spring 2025 is almost upon us, friends! We start our 2025 High Park Yoga season on Thursday May 1st, and every Thursday 6:30-8pm after that. See you soon :D
This is a page for community Yoga classes in High Park. By donation, for every body, all levels, no experience required. What is yoga? We combine breath, movement and awareness, all in the healing nature of High Park.
Feel free to check out Breathing in Nature and join some of my other community events below:
Head over to our Wim Hof Toronto meetup group. You are invited to come down to our Wim Hof method community meetup every Saturday at 9 am at Humber Bay Park West. We breathe together and go into the cold, healing waters of Lake Ontario.
Or maybe you want to explore with psychedelic medicines, body work or guided wilderness travel. Be in touch and check out what we offer.
Feel free to connect with me here on Facebook or on Instagram via niciinnature or breathinginnature. In the meantime, get out into nature and rely on your breath to heal you.

Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Ganja Yoga - High in High ParkHigh Park, Toronto, ON
Experience pairing two powerful medicines: Cannabis and Yoga. You need no experience with either Yoga or Cannabis to participate. This is a class by donation. Donation can be made at the event in cash or via e-transfer to nici@breathinginnature.com. On average people donate between $5-$35 per event.
In Yoga we combine breath and movement with awareness. The benefits of weed during our practice vary and are 'highly' personal. For most, it helps to bring attention inwards, out of our busy minds and into body, heart and spirit. Some find enhanced relaxation, some enhanced strength and flexibility. Some are utterly surprised to learn that they can be active at all while high! Common side effects include enhanced fun, creativity, pleasure, elevated consciousness and connection to self, each other and nature.
By the way, Hi, I’m Nici, your guide for this class. My partner and I run an organization called Breathing in Nature. I’ve been practicing and teaching psychedelics-enhanced yoga for 8 years. For 3 years I studied and taught at House of Yoga in Toronto. For almost 10 years it was Toronto's only Ganja Yoga Studio. You can read more about me here.
My Yoga is accessible to everyone, from total beginner to master. No experience is necessary - neither in Ganja nor Yoga. My classes are non-competitive, and everyone is encouraged to listen to their own needs in the moment. That might mean lighting your inner fire and powering through all the poses or perhaps lying in relaxation for the entire class.
Please bring:
- Your cannabis
- Water
- Yoga mat
- Warm layers/ weather appropriate clothes
- Optional: a snack to share after
We yoga rain or shine. Bring weather-appropriate clothing. Remember: it gets chilly when the sun goes down. We will be spending some time in stillness doing breathwork and relaxation, so have either a blanket or warm layers to put on.
We will start the class smoking/vaping together, sharing our experiences with cannabis as a medicine. I will bring some to share. If you are a fan of edibles, please eat them about half an hour to an hour before the class.
- Breath, Sweat and ChillsRevive Wellness Club, Toronto, ON
Join us for a 75-minute ultra-sensory journey through breath, heat, and ice. We had created this event for our beach community only, but have 5 tickets left for you to come and join us!
The cost for this event is $40 pp, please buy your ticket here.
The Breath
We begin with guided breathwork in the warm sauna as the drum beats in time with your heart, calling you deeper into your body, into the primal rhythms of the soul.
The Sweat
In the post-breath bliss – the heat rises. The sauna becomes a womb of transformation, the sweat rising as layers fall away. Old energies melt. Boundaries dissolve. You become pure presence.
The Cold
When you’re ready—plunge into one of the five ice baths. Shudder, shake, and shiver away the stagnant energy that no longer serves. Feel the fire of your own vitality reignite as the cold awakens every cell.
Rinse and repeat as needed, moving through contrast therapy throughout the evening.
Check your emails for confirmation and the link to the waiver for Revive.
