About us
Welcome to the High Wycombe Men’s Rucking Society!
Each month, I'll be organising a walking route around the High Wycombe area, typically between 5 and 10 miles, that brings guys together for some strength training, connection, and simple, yet enjoyable fun out on the trails. Just load a pack, walk with purpose, and chat along the way. Easy.
You can turn up for fitness, routine, fresh air, or the chance to meet others who enjoy moving as a group. Sessions run across varied routes, so no outing feels the same. Curious? Join a walk, shoulder a pack, and feel how a steady grind builds confidence, resilience, and genuine camaraderie.

May Rucking
Location not specified yetMay Ruck is Set!
We'll be meeting in Downley and doing a 10/11 mile loop up towards Radnage and back to Downley. New to rucking? No worries. Just bring a backpack, stick some extra weight in there (a large bottle of water is good enough) and you're good to go. It's basically just walking with a backpack.
Why rucking is the greatest exercise you've never heard of – and how it can improve your running
We've got a great group of guys who have been meeting once a month for a few months now, but we're always looking for new comers who want to do a bit of strenous exercise, have some good conversation, and get out into the wonderful Chilterns.
Meet: At the Downley Beacon on the Common (next to Commonside Road)
Start: 9am
End: 1pm.
Distance: Around 10.5 miles. A bit up and down in places, but not too taxing
Extras: Nothing required, but nostalgic snacks always welcome (Chris brought some penguins last time which went down a treat)Any questions, just send me a message here
