New moon: Night of the Cradle- Birth of Isis Ritual (25th June 2025)

Join us for first of 2 special New moon rituals ! On this watery Cancerian new moon, we enact our 13th annual `Night of the Cradle: Birth of Isis' Ritual in Central London. This is where we enact the Egyptian SkyGoddess Nut giving birth to the Goddess Isis, bath her staue in milk and offerings, and do ritual magical working for our own wellness! These rituals are suitable for Beginners, and all those interested in Paganism, Wicca & Ritual Magic, and Earth-based spirituality. No prior knowledge or experience is essential, as we give explanations & ritual guidelines at start for everyone.

(Ritual held in conjunction with `London Woodland Witches).

Ritual format

• Meet n greet; altar set up; Intro talk;
• Attunement : Breathwork & tree-earth-moon pathworking; Then consecrations with salt-water & incense;
• Sacred space: Magic circle casting & calling 4 elements.
• Energy & Deity: Chants, Circle dance; Invocations to woodland God & Moon Goddesses.
• Ritual Magic: Spells, Healing. varies each time
• Blessing of food & drinks; ground circle; close quarters;
• Feasting; tidy up.

Special theme : Night of the Cradle is an ancient Egyptian Ceremony honouring the Birth of Goddess Isis. This is our 13th annual Isis Ritual - where we invoke the Sky Goddess Nut, and enact a ritual birth of Isis. A statue is then annointed and bathed in milk and with ritual offerings. We will be focusing on magical work for Life (Ankh).
End time is approximate.

----PRACTICAL INFO----

Date: Wednesday 25th June 2025.
Duration: 7.30pm meeting by Millennium Bridge. Event is held by river bank. Event ends at 10pm.
Fee: £5 cash at event. Eventbrite fee varies (see link in coment section below).

Ritual venue & Meeting point

• Gather on the pavement-steps under the the Millennium Bridge (south bank side, near Tate Modern Gallery) . One of our team member will be there with a Lantern to meet you all! We walk down to river bank, set up altar and start ceremony.
• Riverside These events are held in a public area by Thames shore, about 5-10meters away from water's edge. There are concrete steps going down from pavement to rivershore. Our rituals are planned on date/ time where tide is low.

What to bring?

• Ritual items (optional): Moon crowns, flower crowns Ritual cloaks, capes, masks; lanterns, candles in jars..
• Torch light for safe walking at night.
• Warm clothing & rain-coats/ outdoor shoes or boots (and ankle covered socks! ).
• Small ground sheet to sit on for social.
• Your own Cups/chalice to drink from.

FEASTING & SOCIAL
Please bring food & drinks to share (optional)...example: bread, butter, putting bread, cheese, small picnic food, soft drinks, wine.
If there are unopened food items, please share them out and take them home. .
Tidying up: please Take any rubbish out to bins on pavements.
