Open House Dance at Rutgers Promenaders Square Dance Club

Interested in trying square dancing? We're still working on plans for more dancing in Highland Park, but we wanted to let you know that the Rutgers Promenaders Square and Round Dance club is having a free Open House dance (no experience needed) tomorrow, Sunday September 15, about 20 minutes drive from Highland Park. The caller, Dan Koft, is a local favorite for his fun dancing and exceptional singing voice - this is the club where Greg and I started square dancing in 2016. There will also be round dancing (cued ballroom dancing) with cuer Kathy Koft. The round dancing is not for beginners, so if you don't know how, you will get a few minutes break between square dance tips.
The dance starts at 1:30 PM and goes to 5:00 PM. We know that seems like a very long time to beginners, so we recommend you come at or near the start of the dance, and stay as long as works for you (plan for at least an hour). Just don't forget to say goodbye to Dan and thank him before you leave :-)
