Casablanca Synopsis-Casablanca tells the story of a cynical American expatriate who must choose between a second chance with the woman he loves, or the nobler cause of the fight against Nazi tyranny. It’s romantic, quick-witted, hopeful, and redeeming—all qualities that were much appreciated during a time of global war and uncertainty. It’s as applicable now as it was then.
