Mere minutes from bustling downtown, a forest with pathways stretching over 100 miles seeks to rescue you from the distractions of hurried city life. A grand display of coast redwood and giant sequoia pull at something deep inside of you, reminding you that you have a power on the level of those titans of trees, tiny though you may be.

Your heart rate increases as you stride across the Barbara Walker Crossing, ascend switchbacks, and you weave your way towards the Pittock Mansion.

Taller than the giant sequoia now, you stand at the peak, above a sprawling city, and a magnificent view Mt Hood in the distance.

So, come out for a great hike with a few great people to view Portland from the best viewpoint in town!
