This hike is all about elevation and the beauty of design humankind is capable of, up in the clouds, away from life's worries, taking in the city from birds-eye viewpoints few Portlanders will ever see.

Stand tall in the company of opulent houses resting upon their stilt pedestals and look down on Portland's prominent skyscrapers: The Ritz-Carlton, Park Avenue West Tower, KOIN Tower, Fox Tower, Wells Fargo Tower, and Big Pink (aka US Bancorp Tower). Allow yourself to be seduced by homes of beautiful architecture and design. Your head will be spinning around trying to take it all in.

Showpieces of this urban jaunt include: a six million dollar home with built-in skate park and night club, that house with the giant martini glass light display around the holidays, and a house with a remarkably wavy roof. Plus, we'll walk down a couple "hidden" neighborhood staircases and pathways.

On this hike, you'll taste the good life long enough to get high off it before I bring you gently back down. This is one of the best urban hikes I will ever take you on. Some of the absolute best views of the city can be seen on this hike. This is a loop hike with awe-inspiring views of the city and beautiful homes.

So, come out for a great hike, with beautiful architecture, and socialize with a few fun people!

NOTE: We will not be entering any homes, just walking by them.
