MACKS NORTH- LEVEL 5 CHIP NOT THE STANDARD ROUTE!!!
Details
YOU MUST ANSWER BOTH QUESTIONS TO BE ADDED TO THE GOING LIST.
READ THE ENTIRE WRITEUP. THIS IS NOT THE STANDARD ROUTE!!!
Group size will be kept small. We need high clearance vehicles for the 4 mile dirt road. When you RSVP, please indicate if you have a HCV and are willing to drive. Jeeps or trucks are ideal but most SUV's are good enough; sedans do not have enough clearance. Riders should pay their carpool driver $5.83 for gas and vehicle costs :-)
This hike follows a drainage that gradually rises out of a canyon from USFS 571. Once we gain the ridge, we'll meet up with the standard route to Mack's North
NO SLOW HIKERS, PLEASE. My pace will be a solid moderate with short breaks.
