This is a route shown to me by local legend Ed Forkos. It is a mountaineers route that is different than the one off of Bonanza Road. It has better rock, fun climbs, and to me is just more fun. It goes up a canyon that lines up with Linden Road therefore Ed called it Linden Canyon. The descent comes down what he called Stewart Canyon because it comes down the canyon on Stewart near where we park. Come check out a new way to a familiar peak!

Frenchman Mountain via Linden Canyon
Elevation: 4052 ft
Distance: 3.4 miles
Elevation gain: 1700 feet
Class: 3 with one short class 4
Time to complete: 2-4 hours

Bring 2-3 liters of water, sunscreen, gloves (you will want them coming down!), approach shoes (older if you have them, this hike is hard on your shoes!) and a sense of fun and adventure (super important).
