Rain Tree L-3 Chip High Elevation Hike
Details
The hike features steep switchbacks and high altitude, which will put your endurance to the test. However, the stunning views of surrounding peaks and valleys are sure to make it worth your while. If the views fail to impress you, you can always relish the magical feeling of walking underneath the Bristlecone Pines. The trail is well-marked, and easy to follow.
We will start at the Northloop Trailhead and make our way up to Northloop saddle then head up Rain Tree. This will be an out and back hike.

What to wear:
•Hiking Shoes with vibram soles
•Comfortable hiking clothes
•Light jacket or windbreaker
•Sunscreen lotion, chapstick, sunhat, sunglasses etc
•Gloves
What to bring:
•2-3 liters of water in a bladder/electrolytes
•Salt tablets
•High energy Snacks and/or lunch/sandwich
