Black Star Canyon Trail

Hello!
For this month, we shall do the Black Star Canyon!
This trail is a favorite for many people and for a good reason.
This is a 7 miles trail if going all the way to the black canyon falls, but about 5 miles if not climbing up to the fall.
We will hike to the Canyon Turnoff, where the climb up thru the stream starts and give you a choice to either turn back or climb up to the fall.
If you turn back at the turnoff, the whole hike will be about 5 miles.
If you go all the way to the fall, the hike will be about 7 miles.
Please be sure to wear proper non slip hiking shoes, specially if you plan to hike up to the fall. If you are not wearing a proper hiking shoes, you will be kindly asked not to hike this trail.
Wear hat, bring sunscreen and water, a hiking pole would be good too.
We will meet at the hiking trailhead: 13333 Black Star Canyon Rd, Silverado, CA 92676, USA.
Please look for a group of people gathered at the trailhead.
