Hello Hiking Friends!

This time, we will be going on a different trail at Chino Hills State Park!
THIS TRAIL ROUTE IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS!

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE CONTENT TO MINIMIZE MISUNDERSTANDING.

Trail: We will walk up the short Rim Rd and take the South Ridge trail down East until reaching the San Juan Hills Trail up to the top of the hill where weather station radar is located. The hilltop is one of the highest point in the park and displays beautiful sight to enjoy. We will come down from the hill and continue on the S. Ridge Trail until reaching Telegraph Spur South Ridge Trail, go Westward on the trail to reach the Bovinian Delight Trailhead. At this point we can either take the Bovinian Trail down to South Ridge trail, a shorter trail, or take Telegraph trail to Little canyon trial that connects to South Ridge Trail back, a longer and a bit more difficult route. We will decide which to take once we arrive at the Bovinian Trailhead. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2.5 hr to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. Dogs are not allowed....

Parking: You have to park around the neighbor street around the 3270 Rim Rd. · Yorba Linda, address. Please be sure to park where it does not interfere with the residents. Meet at the Rim Rd. Trail entrance.

Supplies: Please bring water, sunscreen, hats, towel and PROPER HIKING SHOES!
