Beginner hike: Pillar Point Bluff & Maverick's Beach - 5 miles + Optional Lunch

This is a low effort high reward hike/stroll/walk! Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean as we walk along the Pillar Point bluffs to Pillar Point Lighthouse and Maverick's Beach. (Will cancel if there is rain expected)

• Meet at 10AM - we will leave by 10.10AM sharp and plan to finish the hike by 12.30-12.45PM.
• Please bring layers - it is often foggy and windy by the ocean. Hiking shoes recommended. Might be slippery and wet after the recent rains.
• Limited parking at trailhead. Plenty of street parking along Airport Road.
• Optional Lunch - if there is interest, we can go to the nearby El Granada harbor restaurants for lunch.
• Where we meet: Meet at the trailhead. I will wear a red cap like in my picture :)

Covid Protocol:

• You MUST bring a mask to any event, but only wear it if we pass people on a trail.
• Always maintain a 6 ft distance from everyone.
• DO NOT attend if you are sick, coughing, sneezing, or have been around anyone who is sick.
• To protect the group, we will turn away anyone who appears sick or doesn't bring a mask. No hard feelings :)
