When: Saturday, meet at 11:00 a.m. (step-off at 11:30 so no worries if you’re a few minutes late!)
Where: Meet at the Wilson Mill Trailhead parking lot — 25200 Clarksburg Rd, Clarksburg, MD 20871.
👉 If that lot is full, don’t stress — there’s extra parking just north and south along Clarksburg Road.
🌲 The Hike
Get ready for an easy-to-moderate 4.5-mile woodland loop with 469 feet of elevation gain — enough to get your heart pumping but still fun and social. We’ll stroll along brooks, wind through shaded forests, and tackle a few moderate climbs on well-maintained trails.

The route starts from the Wilson Mill Trailhead, winds past the Little Bennett Campground, taking Stony Brook to Whitetail to Woodcock Hollow to Mountain Boulder Trail. This offers plenty of chances to enjoy nature while chatting with new and old friends. Trails are well-marked and easy to follow.
🍷🍺 Post-Hike Social
After the hike, we’ll trade hiking boots for barstools at either 61 Vineyards or Stone Silo Brewery (right next door). Expect good drinks, lots of laughter, and plenty of post-hike storytelling — the Hike for Beer way!
