Please note that its Mother's day.
We will be walking with another Meetup Group called 'Variety is the Spice' so this is a good opportunity to make new friends.

Form: Circular walk from Ascott-Under-Wychwood railway station.
Distance: Approximately 9 km / 6 miles
Duration: actual walking time, circa 3 hours.
Hike grade: Easy/Moderate with a total ascent of 184m.
What to take: A packed lunch and plenty of water.

Walk description
Starting from Ascott-Under-Wychwood railway station we'll soon join the the Wychwood Way heading for higher land at Wychwood - Wikipedia .
Our route will take us into the outskirts of Wychwood Forest before a downhill walk to the Hamlet of Chilson.
From Chilson we return to complete our adventure at Ascott-under-Wychwood. Here we can spare a thought for 16 women that were imprisoned in 1873 Ascott Martyrs - Wikipedia
Walk start location
Ascott-under-Wychwood railway station.
The walk will start promptly at 11am.
Transport from Reading Central Railway Station
There will a 7 seater vehicle from Reading (return)
(Please contact Carl to reserve a seat). Pick up from Reading Central railway station at 9.30am.
Costs
The walk is free of charge. On this occasion we are not raising money for charity.
