Walk Description
From Henley-on-Thames we'll follow the River Thames towards Hambleden Lock before heading deep into the Chilterns National Landscape
Our adventure will take us through Great Wood to our highest point of the walk, where we'll enjoy great views of the village of Turville, where scenes from The Vicar of Dibley were filmed. We'll also see the famous Cobstone Windmill that appears in the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
We'll take our lunch stop before returning along the Chiltern Way to Hambleden, another famous location used for movies and TV productions. This is a nice location for us to have a short break.
The final stage of our day is a walk back to Henley-on-Thames for some well deserved drinks.
