This walk in the Serra da Lua (Moon Mountains) will be an opportunity to learn to recognize medicinal plants that support our various levels of existence—material, emotional, mental... To learn to associate each plant with the energetic balance of our body.
In astrology, the moon is an archetype of the mother of the home. In popular tradition, we often hear that a mother's kiss heals, a mother's caress heals.
It is no coincidence that:
• Right next door, in the Capuchin convent, was once the region's pharmacy. The Franciscans dedicated themselves to spagyrics.
• The garden of the Countess d'Édla's Chalet was also rich in medicinal plants. The Countess d'Édla, a lover of plants and phytotherapy, brought many species from various continents to Sintra.
• The Monserrate garden and the exuberance of exotic plants.
At the end of the walk, a simple recipe for consuming medicinal plants will be taught.
