Hello Everyone! 🙌

Next Saturday looks sunny🌞so let’s go on Schächentaler Höhenweg🏔️, a very beautiful trail in Uri. We will have panoramic views over the valley and Lake Lucerne.
We will stop for a picnic by Flesch lake or at the Flesch Kiosk.

📍 Hike Details
• Route: Biel (via Brügg cable car) → Eggberge (cable car down to Flüelen)
• Distance: 9 km
• Time: 3h walking
• Ascent/Descent: +300 m / –350 m
• Difficulty: Easy, well-marked trail

🚆 Logistics
We meet at Zürich HB under the Blue Angel at 8:45.
• From Zürich HB: train to Altdorf at 09:05 (1h), bus to Brügg (20 min), cable car to Biel (15 min).
• Return: cable car from Eggberge to Flüelen (10 min), train back to Zürich (1h10)

🎒 Bring
Hiking shoes, layers for weather, water/snacks, sun protection, hiking sticks if you like.

The hike will be cancelled if the weather is bad or if something unexpected prevents it.
This is not a guided tour, everyone is responsible for themselves.
