✨ About This Hike
Join Hike More Bmore for a refreshing spring evening walk through a serene retreat of lush greenery in the middle of the city, accompanied by the sights and sounds of the Stony Run stream. This hike is designed for active beginners who want to move their bodies, get fresh air, and connect with community.
We’ll begin with light warm-ups and introductions before starting our 3-mile walk/hike.
This is a welcoming Black-centered space rooted in joy, wellness, accessibility, and connection.
🥾 What to Expect
3-mile walk/hike featuring mostly natural wooded dirt terrain, along with some neighborhood walking paths.
Active beginner-friendly
Mostly flat, with some small rocks on the natural dirt trail.
Expected weather: 65°, partly cloudy
Dress in layers for your comfort. Wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty from the trail or damp in wet areas.
Moderate pace with opportunities to chat, breathe, and enjoy the beauty of Baltimore.
💬 Meeting Location
We’ll meet in the open grassy area near the park sign on Remington Ave.
Street parking is available along Remington Ave. (Avoid parking in bus zones -- please read posted signs.)

This group is intentionally created for Black Baltimoreans seeking a safe, affirming, and joyful space to hike, breathe, heal, and connect in nature.
All fitness levels welcome — come as you are.
Guidelines:
Respect nature and others on the trail.
Leave no trace: no littering.
Stay with the group or inform leaders if stepping away.
Be punctual for the start time.
Respect any photo/video preferences of fellow participants.
All participants must be 18 or older.
We cannot accommodate pets for this event.
