Musical advent calendar at the Zürich Opera (free)
In Front Of The Opera House, opera house, Zurich, CHdescription :
Every day until Christmas there is a short but lovely concert in the foyer of the Zurich Opera House at 17:30, and the exact program is only announced on the day of the concert.

Work schedules make it difficult to plan group outings reliably in advance (concerts start quite early, and queuing ahead ensures good spots). A Meetup event has been created to cover the whole Advent period (split into two due to platform limits) along with a dedicated WhatsApp group:

When you can attend on a given day, just post in the group to coordinate and meet up. After the concert, there's also the option to visit the nearby Christmas market together.

hike from Lachen to EInsiedeln ending with a concert
Zurich HB - Under the Blue Angel, Zurich HB, Zürich, CHWalk description:
The hike starts in Lachen, in front of the train station at 8:15. Then we walk to Einsiedeln. And we must reach it before 17:00 for the concert but it is better to reach it earlier to get a place with a good view.
You need to be fit and have good hiking shoes.
