walk from Menziken to Sempachersee +Fastnacht
Zurich HB - Under the Blue Angel, Zurich HB, Zürich, CHWalk description:
The hike starts at Meziken train station at 8:45. We will then walk to Sempachersee. We must reach it before 3 p.m. if we want to get to the Fastnacht Umzug on time. We will probably take a shorter path than the Komoot route. The section between point 4 and the end can be skipped if we decide not to visit Sursee city center. It depends on whether we are quick or slow.

Hike description:
The hike starts before the train station in Bitsch at 9:30
you need to be fit and have good hiking shoes.
We need to reach the castle before the concert begins at 6:00 p.m., so let’s aim to finish the hike by 5:30 p.m

hike next to castle Schauensee after its visit

The castle in 18min by foot from the train station Kriens Zentrum Pilatus . The visit starts at 10am. The visit is in german.

Karfreitag hike ending with a concert in Altdorf (free, Mozart requiem)
Zurich HB - Under the Blue Angel, Zurich HB, Zürich, CHWalk description:
The hike starts in front of the boat stop Treib at 10. Then we walk to Altdorf along the coast. We need to reach the concert before 6pm but it is better to arrive earlier to get a good spot.
You need to be fit and have good hiking shoes. (Although ,we mainly follow the coastline, we go up and down all the time)
