***MEET in parking lot at Safeway (Colorado ave) to carpool 1 hr to trail head in Lost Creek Wilderness

Shaft House via Goose Creek (and beyond) is a beautiful challenging 9+ mile out and back trail that features incredible views and about 1600ft elevation gain.

***HIKING NEEDED: WATER, hiking boots, hiking poles, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain poncho, first aid kit, and snacks/drinks to share. Poles not necessary but might be useful.
