About the meeting spot:

• Meet across the street from Cherokee Golf Course Club House (2526 Alexander Rd.)
• Plenty of parking on street as well as in golf course parking lot.
• The hike will begin approx. 5 minutes after the listed start time.

Notes on the hike and trails:

• There are several hills on this hike that can be challenging.
• There are exposed roots and rocks to be aware of.
• Beginner hikers are encouraged to attend, although we do keep a moderate pace.
• If you cannot keep up with a moderate pace, this hike is not for you.
• Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

Join us for a moderate paced hike on the trails of Turkey Run Park. We will hike the Hickory trail to the PawPaw (approximately 3 miles) then walk back on the Louisville Loop (est. 2 more miles).

**NOTE: On the LAST SUNDAY of every month, roads are closed to give walkers full access to the Scenic Loop. On these days, it is best to enter the park from Willow Ave.**

Do not use the map dot. Meet at the JMF Welcome Center on Mitchell Hill Rd. The overflow parking is now open so we are back to the old routine.

This scenic hike through the woods happens every Sunday. It is a 4-mile moderately paced hike (easy if you are used to hills. Strenuous if you are not) with several stops along the way. One-stop includes views from the scenic Jefferson Memorial Forest Conference Center outlook deck where you will see much of Jefferson County and Southern Indiana. It's a great way to enjoy nature, like-minded people, and a little exercise along the way.

There are two large hills.

Well behaved pets are welcome.
