Sunday 4-mile hike in Cherokee Park

Join Hike and Bike the Ville for a scenic 4-Mike hike in beautiful Cherokee Park.
Note that this is the LAST SUNDAY of the month, when roads are closed to give walkers full access to the Scenic Loop. Be sure to enter the park from Willow Ave to get to our Meetup spot (possibly parking in the golf course lot).
Due to the amount of rain this week, we will be walking mostly on the paved scenic loop. Beginner hikers are encouraged to attend, although we do keep a moderately brisk pace. If you cannot keep up with a moderate pace, this hike is not for you. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.
About the meeting spot:
- Meet across the street from Cherokee Golf Course Club House (2526 Alexander Rd.)
- Plenty of parking on street as well as in golf course parking lot.
- The hike will begin approx. 5 minutes after the listed start time.
