Deam Lake AM: 5-mile Knobstone Trail Hike

Join Hike and Bike the Ville for a scenic 5-mile hike on Knobstone Trail at the Deam Lake State Recreation Area in Borden Indiana. Enjoy lake views and moderate inclines. We'll hike 2.5 miles in, then turn around and retrace our steps back to the trailhead for a 5-mile round trip.

This is part of a full day of activity options! Bring lunch or buy food at the Deam Lake concession stand, then join us for paddling and/or beach time at the lake after lunch! (See separately listed Paddling event)

Logistics:

• Entry fee: $7 in-state / $15 out-of-state per vehicle (we'll coordinate carpooling to split costs)
• Trailhead: Just past the Deam Lake gatehouse, on the right — look for the KT post
• Parking and restrooms available at the trailhead
• Watch for horses — the area is a popular equestrian destination, so yield to riders.
