Deam Lake PM: Paddling, Beach, or Fishing

Hike and Bike the Ville is hiking at Deam Lake in the morning (see separately listed Hiking event) - then paddling and splashing around IN THE LAKE in the afternoon! You can:
a) bring your own kayak, canoe, or paddleboard or rent a kayak there (limited number; details below),
b) head to the beach with a towel and possibly a raft, or
c) bring your fishing gear and IN fishing license and enjoy an afternoon of fishing

We'll be "lunching" around noon, then the paddling group will get prepped with watercraft and gear, while others will head to the beach or a good fishing spot.

Participants are welcome to come for just the Paddle/Lake time or also join for the morning hike and lunch. It's going to be a great day!

For watercraft:
- You can bring kayaks, paddleboards, and even canoes. A 2026 lake permit/sticker is required and available at the Park entrance.
- Single and double kayaks are available for rental for $32/day. If you are renting, you need to come early to secure a kayak. They will hold it for you during our morning hike and/or lunch.
- If you are doing the beach and want to bring a raft, it will also need to have the $5 lake permit.

Park entry fee:
$7 in-state / $15 out-of-state per vehicle (we'll coordinate carpooling to split costs)
