Sunday 4-mile hike in Cherokee Park

Join Hike and Bike the Ville for a scenic hike in beautiful Cherokee Park. Meet fellow hikers, connect with nature, and enjoy a 4-mile hike at a moderately challenging pace.

NOTE: This will be the LAST Sunday of the month, which means the entire Scenic Loop will be closed to car traffic. To drive to our meetup spot, you will need to enter via Willow Ave (near the golf course) rather than any other park entrance.

This group is dedicated to fostering a supportive and friendly environment where members can enjoy exercise and socializing in the great outdoors. Let's step into nature together!

About the meeting spot:

• Meet across the street from Cherokee Golf Course Club House (2526 Alexander Rd.)
• Plenty of parking on street as well as in golf course parking lot.
• The hike will begin approx. 5 minutes after the listed start time.

Notes on the hike and trails:

• There are several hills on this hike that can be challenging.
• There are exposed roots and rocks to be aware of.
• Beginner hikers are encouraged to attend, although we do keep a moderate pace.
• If you cannot keep up with a moderate pace, this hike is not for you.
• Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.
