Hike & Pictures is a community for humans and their furry companions who love nature, photography, and meaningful connections. 🌿📸🐾
We organize hikes & city walks across the Netherlands while combining this with photography. Whether you're a seasoned photographer, just love snapping pictures with your phone or just join for a little exercise/exploring, you're welcome here.
Besides that, we also organize social events where you can connect with our community over a drink or lunch/food. This community stands for meeting new people in different ways and build long lasting connections.
This community is a safe place! We respect all genders, sexualities, races and nationalities.

Hike & Pictures | Kennemerduinen @Santpoord-noord (10-15km)
Santpoort-Noord NS train station, Santpoort-Noord, NLHike through the Duinen, one of the most diverse nature areas in the Netherlands. Think dunes, forests, open views and maybe even wild animals!
Exact route and km confirmed closer to date. The event might be cancelled due weather conditions or if the host has to work. Make sure to be in the WhatsApp group for quick updates. Many members are travelling from Amsterdam so you could join from there as well! Because the cold weather, we will start the walk immediately when we arrive and won't wait, so if you are late and would like our live location, make sure to be in our WhatsApp group that's included in this description. Also make sure to be able to keep up with a group because we try to not wait too much in the cold and keep walking.
### 🥾 The hike- Dunes can be hilly. some minimum hiking experience required to keep up with the pace of the group.
- Distance: 10-15km (route will be confirmed closer to date!
- It's a circular walk!
*Kennemerduinen doesn't allow dogs, but I'll check this later. - Pace: steady and relaxed, with moments to rest, take photos, and enjoy the scenery
- Terrain: dunes, forest paths, sandy stretches

- Optional: camera or phone for nature shots
