White Oak/Cedar Run Canyon's Frozen Waterfalls!

Details
Time for our annual frozen waterfall tour of these 2 beautiful canyons with all their wonderful waterfalls! Join us for one of the classic hikes in Shenandoah National Park! This is a strenuous hike with over 2450' gain in elevation over about 8 miles total length. Trail description is here:
https://www.hikingupwa... (https://www.hikingupwa..).
Since this trip is so popular, winter time allows us to at least get a parking spot! Picture is from last winter's hike to let you know what you could be in for! Heavy rain/snow or if the parking lot/roads are not plowed or closed will cancel the trip. Please bring lunch, snacks, plenty of water, and dress in layers to keep yourself warm and dry, including not getting so hot you sweat a lot, which inexperienced winter hikers tend to not understand...since it's winter! Cross-posted from Washington Backpackers Meetup Group. So let's get out mid-winter to enjoy a great hike, so mark this one on the calendar early!
