This is an 11mi RT, 4000' gain hike in the western part of the Angeles National Forest. You'll get four - count 'em, four - HPS peaks in one hike, like a local, much lower version of the DeCaLiBron.

The downside is this is about 32 miles from La Crescenta due to the Angeles Forest Highway being closed. Hopefully it'll be open by Sunday, but if not you'll need to either approach from the north (Acton/Vincent area) or head up the Crest and hang a left on Upper Big Tujunga to get to the Angeles Forest Highway.

Based on the stats I'm assuming this will take about 6 hours at a moderate pace, but bring a headlamp in case it goes over. It should be dry and in the 60s or even 70s, but bring a puffer jacket. And, bring the 10 essentials.

And, based on doing the nearby Emma Peak, expect steepness and loose, dry, desert-like terrain. Bringing trekking poles is advised.

Due to past no-shows, everyone gets added to a wait list. The only way to get off the wait list is to leave a comment or DM me so I know you aren't a bot.

Note that we're meeting in La Crescenta and at the crack of 9:30am. Everyone should have a signal at the meeting location, then we'll caravan up there.
