Hike to Silvermine & Hidden Pearl Falls

Ready for a day of scenic trails, historic caves, and cascading wonders? We’re heading out on a nature-filled loop through Mui Wo with some sweet highlights along the way.

Trail Details:

🧭 Distance: ~6–8km loop ⏱
Estimated Duration: 4-5 hours (including stops)
⚙️ Difficulty: Easy to Moderate – beginner-friendly with short uphill sections

What to Bring:

• 2L of water & light snacks or packed lunch
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
• Extra clothes if you're planning to get wet!
• Curiosity and good vibes!

Need to Wear

• Proper Hiking shoes or shoes with good grip

🗺 Trail Route Highlights:

• 🟢 Start at Central Pier no. 6, We all take a ferry to Mui Wo.
• 🐟 Stroll along South Lantau Road, then merge into the shaded Silvermine Bay Waterfall Path.
• 💦 First stop: Silvermine Waterfalls – great for photos and a breather.
• 🪨 Second stop Silver Mine Cave – a short detour into history!
• 🌳 Continue via Pak Ngan Heung Village, passing lush scenery and charming paths.
• 🌀 Link up with Man Kok Tsui Country Trail and Pearl Hill Path.
• 🌸 Final destination: Pearl Falls – a hidden gem for a picnic and chill!
