🛡️ Safety & Gear Guidelines
This is an advanced trail. To keep the vibes positive, we must prioritize safety.
🥾 Essential Gear:
**Footwear: Strictly Hiking Boots/Shoes with good grip. Running shoes are slippery on the gravel/sand of the Dog’s Teeth.
**Gloves: Highly recommended. You will be using your hands to scramble over rocks on the ridge.
*Water: Minimum 2.0L - 2.5L per person. There are no refill points until the end.
Clothing: Layers. It will be windy and cold at the peak (934m) in December, but you will sweat on the way up. Bring a windbreaker.
Sun Protection: Hat and sunscreen (The ridge is 100% exposed with zero shade).
⚠️ Safety Rules:
**No Solo Wandering: We stick together, especially on the ridge.
*Pass with Care: If someone is faster, let them pass at a safe, flat spot.
*Know Your Limits: If you have a fear of heights (acrophobia), this route may be overwhelming.
*Leave No Trace: We take our trash (and positive vibes) with us; we leave only footprints.
