There couldn't be anything better than experiencing a road trip from DXB to Salalah with a bunch of new friends.
Trip Hosting Charges: 499aed
This doesn't include any visa, lodging, travel, meals, fuel etc costs. All such costs to be share among the members (including the host) on actual basis.
The trip is based on "friendly concept"; i.e. friends go together, share experience together and friends return together. No restrictions, just understand that you are a part of a friendly group and experiencing/enjoying your trip with your new friends.
This is an open invitation to solo travellers, a couple or a group of friends - no restrictions basically and everyone is invited.
The trip is based on actual cost sharing. The organisers equally pay for every experience we will have together.
We have been to Salalah a few times before, so we can suggest the places that we know the best, however, it is open for everyone to write down their own list and suggest to the group and we can accommodate as many suggestions as possible. The final decision will be from our side since we are hosting and keeping everyone together.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE DETAILS:
Tuesday 15th July:
Leaving from Dubai on cars: 7pm
Wednesday 16th July:
Reaching Salalah next morning: 10am-12pm
Hotel Check in 1pm
Rest time: till 5pm
Visit time starts 5pm sharp. Planned to visit at least 2 places before moving to Khareef Night Market and Live Music festival at Ittin.
Thursday 17th July & Friday 18th July:
9am start - 11pm return to hotels. Minimum 4-5 places planned/day.
Saturday 19th July:
9am-7pm - Check Out from the hotel. 3 places planned.
7-12mid night: Take rest or enjoy the Khareef music festival. Pack your bags and 2am depart from Salalah - Reaching back to Dubai around 4pm the next day
VISA: The organisers can help you apply your visa if you need or apply yourself on ROP website. The cost of the visa is 50aed and we want everyone to have a visa (if required) upfront as we will not wait for border visa procedures as sometimes it takes hours. Simply apply online few days before and pass by the immigration with a breeze.
CAR OPTIONS: (Own car and Cost shared Pooling Options)
If you are driving your own car, please take full responsibility of car insurance etc.
If you are sharing space in organiser's (other member's car) please share all costs (be generous as someone is driving for you for 3000+ KM trip)
HOTEL STAY: (Pay as per policy)
The organisers will suggest some hotels within different price range. There will be options for sharing or private rooms. Choose the one that best suits your needs and preferences. You are welcomed to book your own hotel if you want to. The idea is that there are no restrictions but we want to stay together as a group and having different hotels for different members will add to unnecessary city travel time, which we can easily avoid.
MEALS: (Pay as per policy)
Cook/grab/buy your own food from any nearby restaurant or simply share with the members wherever we decide to stop during our exploration. No limitations no restriction but everyone is responsible for their own food.
