Let's Hike to Cedar Run Falls!

Winter creates beauty at Cedar Run Falls (3.4 mi out and back). We'll start from the Hawksbill Gap parking area at mile 45.6 on Skyline Drive. Cedar Run is a relatively short but somewhat challenging hike into the Cedar Run Canyon. The trail down to the falls is steep as it passes innumerable cascades spilling down the narrow gorge, an elevation change of 1300 feet. Don't be a hermit this winter...get out in the mountains!
