Check out Hazel Falls!

We will hike through Hazel country, a heavily settled area in pre-park days. 5.2 miles total. with an elevation change of 1023 feet...easy. The trail traverses varied terrain and drops down to the Hazel River and a pretty waterfall. It's a gentle stroll on old roads for most of the way, but the last .3 miles is on a steep, rough path. We'll meet at the trailhead from the Meadow Spring Parking Area, Mile 33.5 on Skyline Drive (Just 2 mi south of the Thornton Gap entrance).
