Let's "walk" Standing Bear Lake!

Join me on a walk on this sunny day. Weather should be pretty nice and hike is hours before superbowl. Please dress appropriately, bring water for yourself (even if you don't think you need it).
Standing Bear Lake in Omaha is a nice little diversion from the weeds and hills of our other hikes and easier on the knees!

Named for the Ponca leader Chief Standing Bear, he fought for the right to be recognized as a human being and his basic humanity, saying, "I am a man. The same God made us both."
