Hi everyone, with sunshine and clouds forecast for next Sunday, let's do this lovely hike to the west of Coursegoules, taking in hills, valleys and forests of pine, oak and beech trees. It's a loop of around 12 km with 500 m of climb in total.

We'll have great views of the Cheiron massif along the way and the ancient village of Coursegoules, with its narrow stone streets, is itself well worth a visit.

You'll need usual mountain kit, including proper hiking or trail shoes, and bear in mind that it can still be quite cold up in the hills. For other equipment, advice and general information, please see the group's front page. And don't forget to bring a picnic and enough water to drink.

As usual, car sharing requests and offers can be made in the comments section.
