We are planning an exciting kayaking trip in the Bogesund Nature Reserve area in 26th July (a day trip)! We will experience the charm of Vaxholm and its area, we will paddle through its picturesque waters. This town offers a truly unique and authentic archipelago adventure to take advantage of the summer!

The goal is to explore the beautiful area, enjoy nature, and have a great outdoor experience on the water with you guys!

We will explore the stunning beauty of the inner archipelago by kayak in the Bogesund Nature Reserve. This peaceful and picturesque route is perfect for families looking to enjoy a relaxing and scenic outdoor adventure.

Is a safe and calm route, the sheltered waters of this route, free from heavy ferry traffic and large vessels, make it ideal for beginners. It’s a perfect place for a relaxed kayaking trip, complete with an outdoor picnic. There are also several great spots for swimming!.

The plan is to take it easy — the main goal is to enjoy the ride. We’ll make stops along the way for swimming and a picnic.

We will be kayaking at an easy pace for approximately 5-6 hours. We'll aim to use tandem kayaks, as they are generally more stable, and we’ll try to pair people based on experience and physical condition.

However, please note that the route may change depending on weather conditions or the group’s preference (we might decide to keep it a bit shorter).
The ultimate goal is to have fun, enjoy nature, and meet new people!

How much?
The price to rent kayaks for 5-6 hours is:

Single kayak: 595 kr
Double kayak: 795 kr (397,5kr per person)

Life jackets, spray skirts, paddles, a small map of the area and a small drybag for valuables is always included in the rental prices.

*We will pay at the kayak center

What to bring?
Please remember to bring👌:

Cap and sun protection cream
Swimsuit and towel (if we will be swimming)
Extra clothes in case you get wet
Packed lunch (we will stop and have a picnic)
At least 1.5 liters of water
A dry bag (if you have one)
Appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather (short hiking pants, comfortable shoes, etc.) — check the weather before leaving
Sunglasses or eyeglasses secured with straps
