Grand Tour of Mt.Tamalpais In a Unique Way

Details
By the end of June Mt.Tam is hotter than ever. I find that the sun is just roasting. And I really wilt in higher temps. So I've planned a, "Grand Tour of Mt.Tam" to beat the heat.
The tour will be a combination of driving to seven of the grandest spots, POIs or fun places. (See the list below.) With a short walk/hike at each stop.
The idea is that I will drive the lead car and other cars will follow me. Our starting point will be the Trojan Pt. parking lot. ***(See aerial view above.)***The other Grand Tour locations are:
- Rock Spring Trailhead
- Laurel Dell Gate (If it's not too hot, we'll hike down to find Leopard Lillies.)
- The intersection of McKennan Gulch Trail and West Ridgecrest Blvd.
- The intersection of Bolinas-Fairfax Rd. & West Ridgecrest Blvd.
- Mountain Theater
- East Peak, (This is one of the hottest places in the summer on Mt.Tam. I call it the Walnut Creek of Marin County.)
- The intersection of Sierra Trail and Panoramic Hwy., (We'll locate where the Huckleberries are.)
In order to give folks in SF who do not have a car a chance to participate in this tour the following will be done:
Take the GG Transit bus to meet a carpool at the Marin City transit hub at 8:45am. Meet there at 8:45am. Only those who do not own a car can meet at the Marin City transit hub to take a carpool. If you do not own a car, RSVP and let me know in the comments you need a ride. The first four who do so can get a ride. After I full my car others offering to carpool can join the comments below seeking riders. I can't moderate all the comment discussions that take place so please keep things straight in a no-host manner.
No-showing this event could result in your, "Walking With a Guide", membership being canceled. That includes cancelling your RSVP within a week (after June 21st) of the June 29th Event date. Do not RSVP unless and until you are certain you can actually make it to the event. No unannounced attendees please.
