Civic Center & Arts District, Berkeley Tour (#9 of BAHA's 41)

Berkeley's Civic Center is recognized as an HIstoric District on the National Register. With broad plazas and arcaded Beaux Arts public buildings.
The 2000 block of Addison St. has developed with City encouragement into an Arts District. Theaters, a music school and a concert performance space enliven the area.

Distance will be about two miles over mostly level ground.
