The Maple Falls to Marz Hike !

Saturday April 4th 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

A hike to the rather unknown and mysteriously legendary Maple Falls. Right next to the town of, can you believe it?!, Maple Falls !!
With a refreshing extension over the hill and thorough the woods to the glorious walk and talk lands of the DNR, ending in a halfway up the hill overlook, or, if the fellowship so desires it, all the rest of the way to Marz!
upon our return to the peaceful trailhead, and as we drive to our original assembly point, some, or all of us, will stop to kick back and relax in a cozy local restaurant to visit together and round out our adventure.

Details:
At 9:00 AM we will first meet at our original assembly point, which is also the home of our event organizer and intrepid mountain guide.

Here we will enjoy a brief introduction/orientation and provide for those wishing to carpool to the trailhead. At 9:20 we will depart from thence for the drive to the trailhead in the quaint little mountain town of Maple Falls.

Suggestions:
Clothing appropriate for the weather and perhaps a back pack to put your extra layers and snacks in.
Sturdy shoes.
Trekking poles. (several pairs will also be available to borrow from your guide)
